Somehow, I'm not sure this helps anybody . . . Here's their argument . . .
"Last night, immediately after Game 1 of the World Series, Yoder for Congress rolled out its latest endorsement from Major League Baseball and Kansas City Royals Hall of Famer George Brett in a television ad. The ad highlights Kevin Yoder's efforts to fight on behalf of our community in Congress - not himself."
If this were one of the players currently on the roster . . . Cool. But after years of hanging around Kansas City and living off former glory . . . Most locals are tired of hearing from George Brett and last year's widely celebrated World Series win for the home team officially makes his accomplishment historic but essentially old news.
You decide . . .
That guy was twice as good as the best player that last year's Royals every had.
ReplyDeleteYou just don't like him, because he is Republican.
Nice hot take there. Tony are you trying for a guest spot on that new Skip Bayless TV show? Brett probably has a 95% approval rating in KC.
ReplyDeleteWho or what is George Brett?
ReplyDeleteBrett is correct. Obama endorsed the other guy, so the obvious choice is Yoder.
ReplyDeleteI don't need Brett or any other local celebrity to tell me who to vote for.
ReplyDeleteyoder is simply having fun advertising to use up some of his war chest.
ReplyDeletehe's a lock.
I like Kevin Yoder. He has been an excellent Congressman. Never been a fan of George Brett. He hasn't had a good year since the 1980s.
ReplyDeleteYoder by 15.
ReplyDeleteSorry George, but personally speaking I'm not voting for him or anyone else in lock-step with Brownback, which oder most certainly is. Yoder has personally been involved in hurting the company I work for, not too mention the Kansas economy in general. It will take years to dig out of the disaster this administration put us in.
ReplyDeleteWho really care who Brett is endorsing...?
