Plaza Traffic Trouble Thanks To Last Night's Flash Mob . . .
"Traffic at a standstill near Cleaver & Main. Kids walking over from Troost are literally running the streets and apparently don't think stop light are there to protect their safety. I wonder if there will be a riot when one of them gets hit?"
Mayor's Nights Memories . . .
"TKC, what happened to the Mayor's program for all of these kids? There are over 100 of them in the park by the Plaza and they don't look like they have anywhere to go. It's past 9:30 and they're still out in full force with some kind of weird light shining over the entire area."
Kansas City Country Club Plaza Tech Trouble . . .
"TKC, my daughter cam home livid. Apparently she was playing Pokemon Go on the Plaza. She is 22 and not subject to the curfew. Some teenager came up to her and asked her to use her phone last night. She is a very generous person and thought this young man needed help so she gave him her phone. He ran off with it as the little brat's friends just stood there and laughed at her. It was a brand new Galaxy Note 7 that I had purchased for her and since there is very little crime where she goes to school, she is a very responsible person so I elected not to purchase the theft insurance. Now the nearly 1000 dollars is gone thanks to so many criminals on the plaza and I have advised my daughter and all of my loved ones never to return to that place."
And so, despite a heavy police presence and developer zoning slap fights at City Hall . . .
