TAKE A PEEK @ HORRIBLE KANSAS CITY SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES!!!

Here's a look at the future of the KCPS and a group of candidates who mostly didn't care enough about the process to get on the ballot in time . . .

"On Thursday the League of Women Voters of Kansas City and the Kansas City Public Schools District Advisory Committee will host a public forum to introduce voters to seven who have registered as write-in candidates for the school board

"The forum at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at Central Middle School, 3611 E. Linwood Blvd. will be moderated by a League member. Each write-in will have an opportunity to respond to written questions from the audience."

On the bright side, the number of people in the audience will be equivalent to votes that will elect this new generation of school board denizens working for change amid a 30-year decline for local schools.

You decide . . .

  2. The latest "light at the end of the tunnel" and effort to "turn the corner".
At least please tell us that NONE of the candidates are products of KCPS!
Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
