TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY ACTIVISTS PLAN WEEKEND OF PROTEST AMID ANNIVERSARY OF MIKE BROWN DEADLY POLICE SHOOTING!!!
This weekend Kansas City activists calling out police brutality and inequality will be taking to the streets in solidarity with protestors across the nation marking the one year anniversary of Michael Brown's death that inspired a series of Ferguson, Missouri into racial uprising riots.
To wit . . .
RIGHT NOW ON TKC WE'VE GOT FIRST LOOK AT KANSAS CITY ACTIVISTS PLANNING MIKE BROWN AND POLICE BRUTALITY PROTEST CULMINATING IN A SUNDAY MOCK FUNERAL PROCESSION!!!
This news has been floating around the Internets for days but we hear some denizens of the local media have been told to downplay it . . .
Here's the word from a protest touted by many local activists and earning a bit of support from More2
"This Sunday marks exactly one year since, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed victim Mike Brown in Ferguson, MO. What followed, after 4.5 hours of officials recklessly leaving Mike Brown's body in the street, was a swelling crowd of neighborhood folks standing in the streets, refusing to be silent over the blatant disregard for this young man's life. This wasn't just a moment. It was the beginning of a movement.
"Many traveled from KC to stand in solidarity with the people of Ferguson. Profoundly, at our Clergy Caucus, a minister from another state asked, "Do you think this could happen here?" Over time that question evolved among many of us to, "Why haven't the people of our metro area reacted when shootings by officers have already happened here?"
"Ryan Stokes, a member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, was shot and killed after an evening at the Power and Light district, just over two years ago. Google his name and decide for yourself if you are satisfied with how his life ended. Just a couple of weeks ago, in July, Javon Hawkins was killed by a KCPD officer. Mixed reports revealed that Hawkins was swinging a sword or maybe another object. Google his name and decide for yourself if his life needed to end.
"This Sunday, at 1PM sharp, members of MORE-squared and allies will gather IN THE PARKING LOT OF ZION GROVE at 2801 Swope Pkwy KCMO. We will be changing locations, do not go inside the church, stay in the parking lot, in your cars. We will be changing locations from here, driving a couple of miles, to our second locale. We will hold a brief public call to action at our second locale. PLEASE WEAR BLACK and BRING SIGNS to show your support for racially just law enforcement. We will be done at 2PM.
#########
This all seems to go in line with a rising tide of Kansas City social upheaval on social media and otherwise . . . All my FB friends keep re-posting this clip that does a lot to explain where people are coming front in this local protest movement . . .
Moreover . . .
TKC EXCLUSIVE . . . BEHIND THE SCENES THERE'S TALK OF BOTH PLAZA AND P&L DISTRICT PROTEST AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY AS WELL THIS WEEKEND COMMEMORATING THE KCMO DEADLY POLICE SHOOTING OF RYAN STOKES!!!
And so the last days of Summer seem exceptionally tense as Kansas City debates the ongoing legacy of Missouri social upheaval and police actions.
Developing . . .
I like that last clip but he could have said it all in 2 minutes. Lots of pushing of an agenda there. Zinn is good but not that good.
ReplyDeletePlus, we're going to protest the fire fight at 39th and Broadway too!
ReplyDeleteAll my Facebook friends keep tellin me I got to post a YouTube video!
ReplyDeleteITS A PARTY! BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThem god damn white people are responsible for all the worlds problems! They're whole agenda it to keep you oppressed so your forced to sit around doing nothing but listening to rap, smoking blunts, jumping on the hoods of cars, and twiddling with a game boy!
ReplyDeleteA whole year since that big, ugly, gentle giant of a NIGGER was wasted in St. Louis. This calls for a Bud or maybe, as the good Reverend says: It's Miller time!!
ReplyDeleteFuck ya'll racist haterz
ReplyDeleteThe only thing you know is what Fox news tells you.
Sorry, weak generalization fails.
DeleteIs the former weed magazine cover girl going to be there with her megaphone?
ReplyDeleteAre they also going to defend the guy that was trying to kill other people with a sword? What an f-ing shame!
ReplyDeleteHow about some justice for Darren Wilson? Unlike most of the Ferguson protesters, he actually wants to work, but the media won't leave him alone.
ReplyDeleteI understand the support for the officers, and fully appreciate how dangerous the streets of Kansas City can be. But can I ask a serious question.
ReplyDeleteDo none of you see any problem with officers and government officials getting special treatment that you and I don't get in the Judicial System? Like the Grand Jury proceedings for KCPD officers? I don't get the same benefit of the doubt when the police write me a speeding ticket, or parking violation. In fact, people going to court these days are guilty until proven innocent, but officers still get the benefit of innocent until proven guilty. Shouldn't it be equal for government officials and regular citizens?
^^^^^^^^^^^
ReplyDelete@10:53 That is a good question.
I am pro-police but I will say that they shouldn't have absolute power.
What you are missing though is that when someone has a gun like Stokes did or is swinging a sword at his neighbors like Hawkins, the police must respond IMMEDIATELY to PROTECT innocent lives. Maybe if these men wouldn't have been armed, they wouldn't have been killed. Maybe if Mike Brown didn't punch a cop, he would be alive too. That's what these protests are missing. A dose of reality.
I'm still dead until proven alive.
ReplyDeleteMichael Brown is exactly where he should be, in hell, on his knees, sucking the Devil's Cock.
ReplyDeleteAnother hero in the black community.
Negro IQ's can not and will not be fixed with money, violence or hearts and minds wishful thinking. Idiots are just idiots and with some exceptions, black people are stupid.
My profile didn't get deleted by Google because I don't have one. Ha Ha.
ReplyDelete1053 I give the cops the benefit of the doubt and give them special treatment because they are the ones we ask to deal with the killers and any other scum of society, SO WE DONT HAVE TO.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you those same benefits when you out your life in the line each day
11:00a I am not defending Stokes or anyone, and I'm not talking about any particular case. I am saying, shouldn't the police and government officials have to face the same judicial system you and I face. I had a cousin who strayed off of the right path. He blew up a building here in town, and went to prison for it. He plead guilty and readily admits he did it, he served his time. I am not defending him or saying he was treated unfairly.
ReplyDeleteBut, as a matter of fact, not opinion, he WAS treated differently than cops are treated. He wasn't given a chance to testify before the Grand Jury, his counsel wasn't allowed to present evidence to the Grand Jury, he didn't even know a Grand Jury had been called. But Police Officers and the Police Department put the Grand Jury in a van and take them up to Shoal Creek and put a gun in their hand and do all kinds of things that are beneficial to a defendant. And that would be fine if regular joe's had the same opportunity.
I guess I just have a problem if the deck is stacked against the public, and the deck is stacked in favor of the government. That just doesn't seem right, it doesn't pass the smell test. And I just don't understand how TKC denizens, who I happen to think are more intelligent than the average voter, could support a double standard where the government gets special treatment that you and I don't get.
11:13 I get your point, but using that preferential treatment does people like Brandon Ellingson a disservice. When a officer admittedly breaks protocol, lies about it, other officers come out against the Department, and no one is held accountable, because the deck is stacked in the officer's favor. That troubles me. It really does trouble me. And no I am not lying in a street in protest. But I do see a real problem with us giving the government too much power, while we have none.
ReplyDeleteThat's a valid concern, after all, a small minority of any group can tarnish the whole. But it is the majority of the police that deserve our protection. But I do see that the times of today are bringing about the very accountability. That you wish, maybe not as fast. The concern I have is with all these people who hate ALL police officers in a way that is a danger to us all and birders on sheer paranoia
DeleteWelcome to the new America where every time a thug gets his ticket punched we have a new excuse to be even less productive, more disruptive and more hateful. Maybe the governor needs to start an adopt a ghetto rat program.
ReplyDeletei WILL MEET WITH WITH THE MISSOURI MILITIA. we HELPED DEFEND FERGUSON WILL DO THE SAME FOR KC THE THUGS MUST BE CO CONTROLLED EVEN KILLED
ReplyDeleteYou can bet the nigger love that runs this blog is the one trying to organize these vigils.
ReplyDeleteTKC EXCLUSIVE . . . BEHIND THE SCENES THERE'S TALK OF BOTH PLAZA AND P&L DISTRICT PROTEST AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY AS WELL THIS WEEKEND COMMEMORATING THE KCMO DEADLY POLICE SHOOTING OF RYAN STOKES!!!
Then only talk of any protest is coming from the basement of the chili fart.

Hey dumbshit, the OBAMA administration investigated and found no wrong doing with office Wilson. Go back to watching MSNBC. "Hands up, don't shoot"
Thanks for the comment Silvestor orgalthorp. Again it was just my 2 cents.
ReplyDeleteFuck a bunch of niggers protesting Michael Brown. Wait and see. There will be trouble. Niggers can't gather without rioting, looting and burning. Its in their blood.
ReplyDeleteTwo dead cops just this week.
ReplyDeleteObama and the DOJ destroying the Rule of Law
12:05 Actually, the Rule of Law has deteriorated over the last 20 years. The largest perpetrator, before Obama, of deteriorating the Rule of Law was President Bush (and I happened to like Bush). I agree Obama has decimated the Rule of Law. But in my mind the Rule of Law was officially destroyed this year by the Supreme Court and the conservative Justice John Roberts. By stating that laws can mean something other than what the words say, there can be no Rule of Law because there is no definition of what a law means. Be it healthcare or speeding ordinances, they have no basis in fact because the words of the are no longer binding.
ReplyDeleteI am 12:09 and I should point out, the Supreme Court ruling wasn't just in my mind. It is a scary belief held by some of the most respected jurists in America. You need only read Scalia's dissent to understand the ramifications. So while I agree Obama has been the public face, the Supreme Court has in fact made it binding. There is no longer a Rule of Law in America.
ReplyDeleteHow about a protest of the decades old and worsening problem of black on black genocide? No? Didn't think so. Don't want to address the real problems or anything, where's the publicity in that?
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me???
ReplyDeleteMichael Brown was anything but innocent. He was high, had just robbed a store and got in a fight with a cop. That is not what I would consider police brutality.
How about all you activists actually do something good for this "community" you are so worried about. Go help clean up the streets, pain the graffiti, fix your neighbors house, go to school, stop your babies from having babies, stop trying to prove your a man and actually be a man.
Show a little respect and guess what, you will get respect back.
12:19 You won't get any respect back. Everything else you said is spot on. but you won't ever get respec tback
ReplyDeleteIf these folks want to carry coffins around, unfortunately, all they have to do is head for College Avenue tonight at around 3:15am and wait for the call.
ReplyDeleteIt's as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning and it's also something that NONE of these activists and marchers even try to do anything about.
It's really too bad to spend so much time and energy on complete irrelevance.
Fuckin Tony is just not right in the head!
ReplyDelete1247 i don't care if people want to kill eachother. i care if the government starts thinking they are above the law. blacks want to kill blacks, i don't care. whites want to kill whites, whatever. but give me a gov that doesn't follow the law, and i do care. people killing people isn't a threat to me, i just stay out of those neighborhoods. but i can't get away from the gubmint.
ReplyDeleteDarren Wilson and Michael Brown were equally yoked. They both made bad decisions that will lifelong consequences. I'm not sure a protest is what is needed. That situation could have gone completely different. Both had an attitude and both thought they were bigger than the other. The confronted each other with one killed in body and the other killed his chances at a career in law enforcement. This is a bad example of police brutality. Wish they'd protest Sandra Green or Eric Garner. Both of those situations were completely unnecessary. Just my two cents... not worth much but I shared anyway.
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch the race bait 101 did you?
ReplyDeleteFuck them all... I moved!!!
ReplyDeleteKoch Brother's funded that video
ReplyDeleteTalk about preferential treatment! NIGGERS wallow in it, every day because the weak motherfuckers that populate this country are all so afraid to be called a racist, that they just lay down for these fucking NIGGERS. It's in the media, the courts, the job market, the entirety of society and it really sucks. Fuck NIGGERS!
ReplyDelete1:04 expresses the interesting point of view that if people ant to kill each other, he just has to move away and not care.
ReplyDeleteBut government and law enforcement at various levels really don't have the option of just walking away. The most basic role of government is public safety for WHOEVER happens to live in a community, and the cops' job is to try to establish and maintain some minimal levels of safety and security. The notion that we shouldn't care about regular folks who happen to live in high-crime areas and don't have the resources to leave doesn't reflect personal freedom.
It's an example of anarchy and chaos that is all too likely to spread and find more innocent victims.
149 the point was that in the very worst of circumstances someone can leave high crime areas. they may become homeless in the process but they can leave. no one can leave the reach of government, there is no ungoverned options in the world.
ReplyDeleteFuck The Police
ReplyDeleteMore squares is gov nixions organization

ReplyDeleteBlack Lives Matter...Just NOT To Black People.
#AllLivesMatter
ReplyDeleteI write that with no irony. It's way too hateful on this board. We can do better, we can do better for KC and for ourselves.
Black lives DON'T matter to anyone or anything. NIGGERS are worthless, useless, pieces of shit and their meaningless lives just simply don't matter a bit.
ReplyDeleteI watched 2:49's youtube like to Zulu Wars Final. It's true there's 16 weapons on average per white person's household in Kansas City and many oil their weapons, keep their powder dry, talk about great white men who fought mercenary wars in Africa, Central America, China, Iran and dozen others. Many militia have social media sites where the captions are to old to hump a rifle anymore but talk a good game due to their years of experience in the arms industry dreaming of Charlie Manson's Helter Skelter. A song written by the Beatles that described a roller coaster in an amusement park somewhere in England. For the most part collecting guns and talking about urban warfare replaced Mutual Assured Destruction in the Cold War Era. In the meantime we see shooting at premiere movie events, near tourist area's where drugs and prostitution are in big demand. It's all a part of human sacrifice in a Capitalist System. Life like human targets are now used in practice by law enforcement because you can ask any cop "everyone is a suspect". Kansas City Police Department have murdered at least 3 people this summer. We've witnessed strangulation by police in Lenexa, Kansas a few weeks past. The Police are not letting up and the KKK stands firmly behind them to provide patrols and fire power if necessary. A black mayor in Kansas City allows the Neo Nazi's to assemble at the Andrew Jackson County Courthouse to intimidate black, brown and poor people that neo nazi's will be called out when mass murder is at it's most opportune moment. All the NGO's are in place to roll out their boring bullshit to crush a populist movement by any means necessary. By snitching, prayer, promise of reform, free bus rides, speakers or guiding people into safe shelters to get beat, teargassed and murdered.
ReplyDeletethe Democrat "War on Whites" escalates.
ReplyDeleteLet give Gov Jay Nixon the opportunity to call out the National Guard in Kansas City!
ReplyDeleteThe fact is none of the street thugs wanted to actual truth about the Brown shooting form day one. They just wanted an excuse to act like the low life shit that they are. Do you see a single black person in Missouri wanting to hold their lack representatives accountable for doing nothing to change the status quo. A whole year and not one fucking black politician has done anything to change the rules on shooting thugs, but it is all whiteys fault. It is the police's fault. It is everyone's fault except the thugs. To make it worse is you have the white wannabe whores pandering and egging on more shit a year later, but holding no one accountable for failing to act legally to change anything. These scum bags are nothing less than complete shit bags, sitting on the sidelines pushing for violence and agitating trouble. Five seconds after the cameras were turned of Holder was gone, Sharpton shut his fat pie hole and everything returned to normal. None of these big bad pussies changed shit and I can guarantee you in 5 years nothing will have changed, except there will continue to be a little pack of morons the troublemakers can bullshit into going to march in the streets over damn near anything. Fuck these clowns.
ReplyDeleteOnly TKC would promote a nigger rally like this. When are u rubes going to realize the Mexcriment hates you. That's why he promotes everything nigger.
