To wit . . .
TODAY'S ATTACKS AGAINST KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND CONSERVATIVE HEATHER HALL ARE A DIRECT RESULT OF THE HARD WORK OF MAYOR SLY'S CONSULTANTS!!!
But don't take our word for it . . . Look at the info available and you decide . . .
This one best summarizes the mainstream media take . . .

People who know how stories get planted already understand . . . Still, we should remind newbies and Internets searchers that we've already identified the players and divisions in this important Northland contest.
It gets worse . . .
A division of Axiom is now bouncing around now unsure of their previous research which said Heather Hall was ahead . . .
Remington pretty much says the race is too close to call. More deets after the jump but this link has their data . . .
Now . . .
WHAT'S CLEAR IS THAT MAYOR SLY AND HIS PEOPLE ARE IN ATTACK MODE AS HEATHER HALL COULD SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THEIR STRANGLE HOLD ON THE CITY COUNCIL!!!

Poll: Tight Race in Kansas City’s 1st Council District
Kansas City, MO – Remington Research Group has conducted an independent survey of the municipal election for Kansas City’s 1st Council District. The seat is currently held by incumbent Councilman Dick Davis. Davis is being challenged by Heather Hall.
Davis currently leads with 36% of the vote to 34% for Hall, with 30% of likely voters still undecided. Davis’s lead is well within the poll’s margin of error (5.5%). Both candidates possess almost identical favorability ratings amongst voters— 33% of voters view Davis favorably, while 25% view the incumbent unfavorably. Similarly, 34% of voters view Hall favorably while 23% view the challenger unfavorably.
“This campaign remains extremely close just seven days out. Both candidates’ images are almost identical and that has translated to an even ballot. In a low turnout election like this, the campaign that can most effectively mobilize its supporters will win,” said Titus Bond of Remington Research Group.
Remington Research Group conducted an automated survey of 305 likely municipal election voters from June 14 through June 15, 2015. Responses were weighted to reflect expected turnout demographics for Kansas City’s municipal election in the 1st District. The margin of error for the survey is +/-5.5% with a 95% level of confidence. The survey was commissioned independent of any campaign or committee involved in the race.
Remington Research Group is a polling firm that specializes in automated IVR technology. The firm was founded in an effort to provide more reliable and affordable polling for campaigns throughout the country. Remington Research Group surveys have been featured in RealClearPolitics, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, the Wall Street Journal and numerous local media outlets throughout the United States. ReplyDeleteDamn you TKC.
Hall vs. Gloriso.
ReplyDeleteThat's not fair.
I wish I could vote for her and upset the apple cart.
ReplyDeleteSly will have the next council in his hands. He will own Dick and that turns me on.
ReplyDeleteAt least she pays her taxes, unlike the Mayor...
ReplyDeleteSince Cindy is leaving......the Bear is diggin on Heather Hall.
ReplyDeleteHeather, let's take some pics. You can use the Bear in your "mailers".....he he.
Pretty sure Cum Guy feels the same way.......
The KC(CK)MO system is corrupt… and dangerously dysfunctional.

Of course they are on the attack. There is nothing subtle about desperate men.
ReplyDeleteHall is a flunky for the sleaziest scammers in the city -- the Democrat greedy Firefighters union slobs--
ReplyDeleteshe actually BRAGS about it on her campaign flyers!
vote the geezer -- GOTTA be better than electing a puppet for greedy Firefighter union slob-scamming weasels.
KCUR demonstrates why public radio shouldnt receive any government funding. Liberal lap dogs much like the mainstream media doing the bidding of liberal politicians and special interest groups.
ReplyDeleteI'd fuck Heather Hall in her ass. Then cum all over her face and tits.
ReplyDeletenot surprised at all
ReplyDelete@5:38 is a clever Dick Davis consultant. It's actually Davis that is supported by the entirely corrupt Local 42. If they don't get their way, they will burn this bitch down.
ReplyDeleteThe mayor needs to be recalled. Leave that section of your ballot blank to make it easier for us when the time comes.
ReplyDeleteDoes she have a position on unsolicited bulk email?
ReplyDeleteDoes she have a favorite position?
Get rid of Davis and stop the Mayors bullshit spending, it's that simple.
ReplyDeleteHeather doesn't believe rules apply to her. Ask how she got her signatures to run?
ReplyDeleteWell, I signed her petition while she was standing outside a poll. She actually asked for my signature and vote. More than I can say for Davis!
ReplyDeleteSince she only answer questions asked by TKC I would like to know if she's for state or local control of the KCPD. She claims to support the police bUT won't tell people how. Councilman Davis is on the record of supporting local control and I agree with him on that.
ReplyDeleteThe only candidate worth voting for in this election is Taylor's opponent.
ReplyDelete@5:38 is a dick --
ReplyDeleteHall mailing out fliers touting her FF Local 42 endorsement.
Local 42 PAC is butthutt after Louie Wright didn't make it out of the primary. They haven't endorsed anyone in the first district race. Which frankly is a little odd.
Delete8:07 is liar Glorioso. Davis mailer has main local 42 guy front and center saying the he endorses the old man.

So there you have it, another review of political contributors. We would like the reader to draw specific attention toward those on the list who intentionally or not, did not disclose their employer and thus their link to construction related business in KCMO. It seems to us that everyone could apply the label "consultant" to themselves, but if you have nothing to hide, why would you play such silly games? Gentlemen, please stop the charades and don't be afraid to disclose your vested interest in political candidates.
Readers will again note the overt presence of Burns and McDonnell employees, almost none of whom reside within KCMO. Supporting our contention that Burns and McDonnell has a coordinated corporate policy of funneling contributions to candidates, readers are encouraged to try to find an instance whereby one of their KCMO non-resident employees contributed to more than one Council candidate. We just find it odd that a Burns and McDonnell employee who resides in Leawood/Overland Park/Olathe/Lenexa/Lee's Summit/Pleasant Hill would donate to Dick Davis (1st District--North of the river) but not donate to other Council candidates. Unless of course, the donation was made in an individual's name on behalf of another party.
Once again, we thank TONY'SKANSASCITY.COM for providing a free speech forum and fostering an atmosphere of civic debate and investigation. Let Freedom Ring!!!
Well sure, KCMO just gave them millions in tax breaks.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you getting at? Davis has supporters? Heather does too, like Forte? Oh well,... Maybe not. I bet that for all she did for Todd Akin, he gave her a nice contribution? Guess Akin figures she should consider the $20,000+ he gave her a contribution? Or, was it for services rendered?
ReplyDeleteI can search the Missouri Ethics Commission site as well and it looks like Heather Hall should probably run for the City Council of Liberty instead.

Davis is being paid off to funnel billion dollar projects to donors. These are not supporters, this is corruption! This is exactly what is killing the city. Voting incumbents back in is a death wish for the city at your expense.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason Hall is running is to protect her husband and his friends pension. Police Union is trying to buy a seat on the council

ReplyDeleteAnd once again, the 85% of metro residents who DON'T live in KCMO thank their lucky stars they made the right choice of location and watch in amazement and amusement as the carnival of what's laughingly called "city government" in KCMO introduces the latest round of elected clowns.
ReplyDeleteBut what can you expect? You need to find 13 actual serious and responsible adults to fill those seats at city hall. And you have a population of only 464,000 people.
It's really hard!

When asked about the city's economic development position, Hall said the city’s policy has been successful in “some areas.” She did not elaborate. Shouldn't someone who has been campaigning for over a year be able to give a better answer and go into detail?
