These challengers could force an unpopular and controversial incumbent out of the primary. Thanks to all of them for talking with our TKC blog community . . .
Rachel Riley
Bryan Dial
Jamekia Kendrix
More to come . . .

ReplyDeleteAfter Sly's first four years I trust absolutely none of them.
ReplyDeleteAw come on guy! Don't you read Yael? Sly's the best thing to ever come along since the invention of sliced bread!
ReplyDeleteSly has done miracles for the 3rd district. The miracle of doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteHave these candidates been screened and approved by Burns and Mac?
ReplyDeleteBrial Dial is right, based on these videos he rises above the rest. Ms. Hendrix did make a good point and that is council people must hear from their constituency. It's way past too late for Jermaine Reed. Four years of ignoring people, being overtly rude and non-responsive (to the point of flatline) is not how you get re-elected. He can shove it! Dial is a winner in my book!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we could repeal the citizenship requirement and find some good potential office holders in some banana republic.
ReplyDeleteBased upon this video questionnaire, if I was a resident of this district.....
ReplyDeleteI would vote for: JAMEKIA KENDRIX
or RACHEL RILEY
Im voting Reed. I know Tony can't stand the guy because his success and Quintons rise blocked the rise of a certain Hispanic empty suit. Hate all you will Reed gets 75 percent of the vote!
ReplyDeleteGood point, 7:17.
ReplyDeleteWhat ever happened to "I'm moving up because of the lousy job I've done on the school board" Crispin Rea?
Whoever of these folks win son't make a bit of difference. The usual suspects, Chamber swells, construction execs, big law firms, consultants, contractors, and the rest of the menagerie who really run KCMO for their own financial benefit will school them right after the election.
So for the 9.5% of registered KCMO voters who will come out on Tuesday...
Thanks for playing.
Reed doesn't make the primary. Sorry.
ReplyDelete7:17pm is in a drug-induced haze. Probably one of his cracked out friends from at 18th Prospect.
ReplyDeleteReed has no successes. Zero. Nadda. Goose eggs. Zilch!
If you count up all the made up accomplishments they still equal zero.
75% of the vote in the Third District is the equivalent to less than .01 of the voting population. Apathy and self-loathing account for the reasons why people refuse to vote. Guaranteed, Reed wouldn't get it if it were not for all of the senior citizens. The club crowd will barely make it to work on time - they won't leave enough time to vote and pick up the kids. Happens year after year.
ReplyDeleteStill, that doesn't bode well for Jermaine Reed. Sorry, he's toast!
Reed will win.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you keep using this picture of Bryan and you use professional shots of the others Tony
ReplyDeleteIt won't make any difference whether Reed wins the election or not.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be taken care of by the usual suspects and bounce to the next $65,000+ job on the public payroll just like he's done for the last number of years.
And the Third District is worse off for having him where he's been the last four years.
That'show the KCMO system works.
Keep those e-tax dollars coming!
