TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY EAST SIDE POLITICAL POWERHOUSE GROUP FREEDOM, INC. RELEASE OFFICIAL ELECTION GUIDE 2015!!!

Right now we have FIRST LOOK at a document that will define the upcoming election in the urban core and throughout Kansas City.

To wit . . .

CHECK THE KANSAS CITY FREEDOM, INC. ELECTION GUIDE FIRST ON TKC!!!

Pundits and other politicos might want to downplay the strength of Freedom, Inc. but lets look at the facts:

- Freedom, Inc. helped defeat the toy train streetcar and joined forces with conservatives in surprising and decisive win.

- In another anti-tax victory Freedom, Inc. started an urban core tax rebellion that humiliated Jackson County elite and led to an overwhelming SMACKDOWN of the so-called translational tax.

- In low voter turnout elections of the past Freedom, Inc. has maintained a consistent connection with voters who trust their judgement.

Here's the PDF version . . .

Freedom, Inc. Kansas City Official Primary Voter Guide 2015

Now let's take a look at the file . . .

A message on what this endorsement means . . .

"These Freedom-endorsed candidates for Kansas City, Missouri City Council have the requisite skills, aptitude, and equally important, the commitment to the values and principles embedded in our mission. They are experienced, committed, talented, focused and accessible. They are best suited to represent our issues, our priorities and our agenda."

Now let's take a look at the candidate profiles . . .

Best of all . . .

INSIGHT INTO THE ENDORSEMENT PROCESS SHOWS HOW FREEDOM, INC. REJECTED MAYOR SLY AND WORKS IN COUNCIL ELECTIONS!!!

The Mayor and Virginia “Dee” Evans (candidate for 3rd District At-Large), did not respond to our questionnaire and declined invitations to be screened.

"Incumbent Scott Wagner (1st District At-Large), was screened. Based upon his interview and his record which includes opposition to the appointment of an African-American Municipal Court Judge and his support for the effort to outsource jobs held primarily by African-American women, we made no endorsement in his race."

"Incumbent Jim Glover (4th District At-Large), was also screened. His plan to displace and relocate African-American residents from the Bainbridge Apartments in his district, a Fair Housing Complaint filed against him, and his support for outsourcing jobs held primarily by African-American women were factors that led to the endorsement of his opponent, Katheryn Shields. She has a record of supporting equal access and equal employment opportunities for African Americans and women."

Here's the Freedom ballot:

Again, like it or not, in a low voter turnout election the Freedom, Inc. resurgence will play a MAJOR factor and could shape the course of Kansas City for the future.

  1. Heard it here first3/30/15, 12:00 PM

Tony, check your sources, I think they might be in for a surprise in the 3rd in-district race. Nobody is saying that Jermaine is really unpopular. That's the real story.

  2. good -- if they're for them -

I'm against them -- will make it a good, simple voting guide.

    What a fucked up city.

Those morons couldn't run a car wash.

  4. I must say that I continue to be fascinated with the Freedom Inc. logo featuring shackled black hands.

It strikes me as exploitative, and a purposeful hindrance for those attempting to move forward rather than lanquish in the past.

Could it be that a politically active class, one who derives a paycheck from this activism, is more concerned with retaining their power than anything else?

If Freedom Inc. uses slave imagery in their logo, would it be appropriate for Jewish political groups to use gas chambers in theirs, Japanese Americans to use internment camps, Chinese Americans to use railroad slave labor images, and Native peoples to use reservation images?

  7. So the same old demeaning 1960s idea that east side residents are too uninformed and helpless to decide who to vote for on their own.
Anyone with a lick of self-respect should be insulted by the same tired old crap.
And the most important question is:
How much money TOTAL did all these candidates pony up and where did the great majority of it end up?
KCMO: The innovation center of the USA operating like it's still in the '60s.
    Pathetic!

  8. I don't know how they can say they have a spine when they post a picture of Bruce Watkins and Leon Jordan on the same bill with, it's not the civil rights group it once was, it's just another political pac

  9. We note that Mr. Bacchus advocates:
    1) putting residents to work renovating and rebuilding houses 2) raise the minimum wage 3) eliminate blight-demolish dangerous structures

    Mr. Reed advocates:
    1) raising the minimum wage 2) eliminate blight-demolish dangerous and abandoned buildings 3) create jobs on local and federal projects

    Mr. Lucas advocates:
    1) raise the minimum wage 2) allocate city resources to neighborhoods with the greatest need 3) increase funding for home repairs and renovations 4) generate home ownership in the urban core

    Mr. Barnes advocates:
    1) raise the minimum wage 2) eliminate blight

...all of which tells me that these gentlemen are pandering for votes amongst the downtrodden.

It is absolutely NOT the role of a city councilman to interfere in the business economy by manipulating wages for some residents.

Likewise, when it comes to blight (undefined) the city already has existing ordinances, and these should be enforced without additional meddling by councilmen. We infer that what these gentlemen have in mind is akin to the "Green Zone" boondoggle. Let's not repeat that fiasco.

Of the four gentlemen, we applaud Mr. Barnes inclusion of "Improve delivery of basic services citywide" which should be the goal for the representatives.

  10. Reed hasn't done anything, so just having Jermain Reed on that billing means they all are Status Quo

  11. This may not be likely to get the attention of CKitizens, who will take all manner of social, economic and political abuse, but will rise up with righteous fury when you disturb their Entertainment.

  12. This is some fraganackle bullshit. First, Reed had nothing to do with the Aldi grocery store. It just happened while he was on the council. Second, his involvement with East Patrol should be the reason people vote against him. Steals from his own people and calls it an accomplishment. Piss on you Jermaine!

  13. Don't worry scro's. Lot's of tards lead kickass lives.

Jermaine Reed does the exact same thing as Jim Glover. Freedom Inc. endorsed him. Fair Housing Complaint filed against the City due to Reeds involvement with East Patrol - an issue still under scrutiny by the federal government.

Jim Glover does the exact same thing as Reed. Freedom, Inc. does not endorse him.

Freedom Inc. needs to figure out which side of the coin their own. This is nothing but double speak. This isn't freedom, this is confusion and collusion at work.

  16. It doesn't require a high IQ to run for public office. It takes a few acting lessons, voice lessons, self help and Ayn Rand romance novels to develop your talent. If all else fails you can sell used cars or be a preacher

  17. It's this kind of VIBRANCY that should attract the creative Millennial Market of folks who were formerly planing on moving to Portland or Austin.

One look at a flyer such as this and it will be clear to them that KC is clearly a city on the move!

  18. I'll tell you this, I'll take Freedom's ticket over the Mayor's!

He just wants his new hotel.

    Not on my dime, fattie!

  19. Hard to take anything that includes a Katheryn Shields endorsement seriously.

  20. Its hard to take seriously the carping of an anonymous white male when it comes to Freedom, Inc.

    At best, its mildly humorous.

If there really is anyone at Freedom, Inc. who cares what white men think of them, then they need their head examined.

  21. All NIGGERS, all the time. Again, it is a simple concept. Don't ever, ever do any kind of business with a NIGGER period! You will lose and get taken advantage of, either in the press or in the courts. NIGGERS are vermin and should be treated the same way you would a rat or a snake...

  23. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, the Polar Bear will not be able to deliver the keynote speech at this years "Freedom Incorporated" rally.

He would like to send his best wishes to the Negro grifters of Killa City in their quest to continue forwarding outstanding black grifters to pilfer the taxpayer coffers.

The Polar Bear is confident that "Freedom Incorporated" will forward outstanding "high fliers" that will make S'Lie James look like a negro shoe shiner, when all is said and done.

"Power to the Grift", "Power to the Grift"

  27. Kathy Shields represents Freedom, Inc. principals and leadership... and she's white. Black power sympathizers are stretching their brand further than it is capable of expanding. Pro Black rhetoric.
