Kansas City media insiders were kind enough to provide our blog community with the FIRST DEETS of the groundbreaking switcheroo debuting today @ KMBZ.
Lesser bloggers have been offering nothing but opinion on the news out blog community put out there FIRST but now it's time for this blog community to weigh in . . .
To wit . . .
FOR THE MOST PART TKC DENIZENS THINK THIS IS A WINNING MOVE FOR KANSAS CITY NEW TALK RADIO!!!
There's a conservative slant of course but overall the effort to focus on the local discourse seems like something that both sides of the aisle can agree upon.
Beyond a mere old school ratings and numbers perspective . . . It's important to understand that the new digital/Internets era focuses on niche and conversation and this KMBZ move seems like a smart play to secure the local talk game for Entercom.
You decide . . .
Really think they should bring Mike Shanin back.
ReplyDeleteHe would be great on the new format.
But the FM side of the dial is a bigger gamble. If you are talking about niche markets, AM is the new niche where target marketing could bring in tons of boomer ad dollars.
Laura Ingraham is hot.
ReplyDeleteA good deal, but they need to do more with the Internet.
ReplyDeleteJonathan Weir is the best of the group.
ReplyDeleteYou lie we broke the story first.
ReplyDeletePlus we have the best writers and staff of any website in Kansas or Missouri. Our award winning stories coupled with record breaking views and comments on all stories prove such. Papers such as the KC Star, Pitch and some rag in hillbilly southwest Missouri are both teetering on the edge of failure after losing our talented Pulitzer Prize winning writers.
ReplyDeleteGood, now I don't have to listen to Dana and Parks anymore.
ReplyDeleteAttention obama nigger lovers and "progressives" NPR is still open so you can live your delusions while you can.
ReplyDeleteGrowing huh? I suspect the truth is and reality is the opposite is actually occurring.
ReplyDeleteScotty and cackle are now on the Disney station.
ReplyDeleteIf rather listen to Radio Disney the Dana and Parks.
ReplyDeleteNPR stands for National Petroleum Radio. Not sure why people are mad at the oil companies?
ReplyDeleteWell, Darla is hot in a sorta' fat-girl-warm-quilt sort of way.
ReplyDeleteOne failure after another. Like Kansas City doesn't have enough freq. fragmentation already.....
ReplyDeleteWait, you mean to tell me that in 2015 there are still rubes out there listening to terrestrial radio?
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA, HAYSEED RUBES!!!!
I'd fuck Dana Wright in her ass. Then cum all over her face and tits. Then I'd smack Keitz for putting a ring on that cock gobbling hoe.
