FIRST among any group of readers, we admire our subscribers and want to help this part of our community express themselves effectively.

Subscriber shoutouts are a regular feature of the blog . . . Feel free send us a message, respond to our newsletter or get a hold of us any way you feel best.

Here are a few guidelines . . .

- Don't try to do reporting . . . The subscriber shoutout is a place to SHOWCASE THE VERY BEST TKC OPINION!!! Tell us what's on your mind. Comments are one thing, these blog community reactions will be featured regularly.

- Don't liable, defame or name check people who aren't public figures. This isn't the place to rant about your noisy neighbors. Regular readers already know this fact of life but it's worth repeating so that everybody can take part in our civic discourse. We reserve the right to edit any and every comment we use . . .

- Have fun and be creative . . . We're going to do our best to compile as much as we possibly can from this special segment of our community. Subscriber shoutouts are off-record by default and simply labeled "subscriber" use that freedom to tell us what's really on your mind. Also, the subject line "Subscriber Shoutout" would help a lot but it's not necessary.
