A defensive battle and a not quite so exciting game from the Royals capped off a 3-2 victory in game one of the ALDS tonight in Anaheim.
Again, not really the most exciting game in the world but it'll do as we complete the best week ever in Kansas City Pro-Sports history.
Everybody up late is welcomed to celebrate and probably drag tomorrow at work.

ReplyDeleteRemember 1985, when all the pundits laughed at our chances. Even KC residents were giving away playoff tickets when the Royals came back to KC. They only had to lose one game or win three in a row.

gotta like our chances with a win last night. sets up very well for the royals, even if they lose tonight. come back home and play games 3 and 4 here... not unreasonable to think we can take'em both. provided, of course, we don't get "yosted."

ReplyDeleteWhile the Bear rails on the Negro and those smelly illegal Mexicans, he has a affection for Sung Woo Lee. That dude has good karma. The Royals would be well served to fly his ass to Killa City for the Sunday night game.

Just don't give him tickets to that comedy ghetto over in JoCo. That would kill even the strongest "Oriental magic".
