ReplyDeleteGOD BLESS YOU CK TAYPAYERS! THANK YOU REX AND MR PEANUT.
ReplyDeleteFUCK YOU VERY MUCH $LY JAMES.
WELCOME TO HELL.
It couldn't happen to a better more corrupt group of people
ReplyDeleteMaybe the people of KC aren't complete idiots after all.
ReplyDeletethey'll just figure out another way for you to pay for it
ReplyDeleteyou know that dont you
Victory is sweet......... You hipsters oil those skateboards and call mom to replenish your debit cards.
ReplyDeleteMr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteA big thank you to the voters of the intended district.
The voters spoke loud and clear tonight. If the people we elected to do the people's will continue to push this idea, we will speak again. This council and mayor have to go, period. They were elected to do our bidding. Protect our city, stop the crime, fix our current issues. Don't create more. I would support the politicians if they got us out of the Sprint mess, P&L debacle, and spent time fixing the crime. Until then, I will work on ridding city hall of the people working there.
ReplyDeleteWonder if this town should cut its losses on the first part, and pave it over?
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it
DeleteYou suck Sly now just fucking move please.
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha! I bet this makes Mensa Boy's teenie peenie ache.
ReplyDeleteever heard of value capture options backed by bonds?
ReplyDeleteyou will
Mensa boy has been locked in his rubber room in a straight jacket. But they let him wear a paper facsimile of his yellow Mensa pin. And they have him the toy train equivalent of paper dolls - because we all know a Russ is smart enough to get out of the straight jacket.
ReplyDeleteWhen can we vote our worthless mayor out?
ReplyDeleteAnd a big thanks to TonyKC, the only local media that was against the stupid trolley.
ReplyDelete.....and let them begin complaining/blaming Clay Chastain in.....3.....2.....1....
ReplyDelete"If it wasn't for Clay Chastain, I swear we would have had this thing sewn up!"
Can You Say:
ReplyDeleteTRANSLATIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH?
NO!!!!!!
I didn't think you could!
It's time to recall Russ Johnson NOW!
ReplyDeleteThe People spoke to tell these crooks and liars we're fed up with their shenanigans and we want the money we already pay to be used wisely for infrastructure not consultants, sweetheart deals for big corporations and do nothing jobs for their cronies. We don't care what old cronies endorse their lackeys or pet projects either. Hopefully it's only the beginning of the People waking up!
ReplyDeleteBlame Clay? His proposal just became the only viable funding source for the Toy Train, didn't it?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Tony, for your unceasing and solid work on this issue.
ReplyDeleteMarcus is 0 for 2 this year. Bad time to start your own "consulting" business.
ReplyDeleteTake a bow Tony!
ReplyDeleteLet us hope that Russ got the message and will resign. If he really cares about KCMO, that would be the appropriate thing to do.
ReplyDeleteWe the people just won !
ReplyDeleteRock on TKC! Have a 4-pack of Twinkies.
ReplyDeleteLove the sexy ass Polar Bear!
ReplyDeleteSpend, take and waste the hard earned money of working Kansas City Citizens - THE HELL YOU WILL and THE HELL YOU WILL NOT sly james, russ Johnson and Cindy slicker. The voters have spoken and listen up you criminal thugs, we don't want your on the take welfare programs, in fact we are going to vote your lying corrupt asses out of office.
ReplyDeleteCan I hear an AMEN????!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is best in life?
ReplyDeleteTo crush your enemies.
See them driven before you.
And hear the lamentation of the hipsters.
well done tony false claims hype and race baiting are really things to take pride in
ReplyDeleteAnd kc fire sales tax passes by a landslide for 22 more years! Pay attention city council. If you want shit done don't ever go against public safety . Kcpd and kcfd still get the majority of votes and whatever they back.
ReplyDelete10:41 is best
ReplyDeleteSuck it, Sly!!!!
ReplyDeleteWho is MENSA boy?
ReplyDeleteLet's keep the ball rolling right into the spring election!
ReplyDeleteYou folks bent over again for the fire grillmasters, huh?
ReplyDeleteWhen will you turnip truck hayseeds realize that KCFD is the biggest racket this side of the Russian Black Hand?
The threats about not reaching grannie in time worked I guess.
Fucking rubes. (I withheld calling you dolts because you at least did the right thing with the streetcar)
10:48 He goes by the name HARDCHARGER. You'll know him when you meet him, and he'll know what's best for you.
ReplyDeleteBonyanne is out!
ReplyDeleteRuss Johnson is a dick.
ReplyDeleteI would just like to congratulate Freedom Inc. for preventing "slavery" and "Jim Crowe"...too bad you had to become a lying Uncle Tom to do it.
ReplyDeleteTake a bow Tony!
ReplyDeleteFirstly, for your unwavering defense of free speech.
Secondly, for your tireless and unwavering efforts to expose the boondoggle toy train.
BRAVO!
Good job dudes. Hope that Gates is SMOKIN!
ReplyDeleteThis is really a signal to the city's leaders. We can't go on hedging out civic growth on these election scheme that never pay off.
ReplyDeleteWe have learned the lesson from the P and L District. There needs to be some sanity and real evidence for development, not just speculation and public relations. KC's voters have spoken, we need to stop spending so much on tourists and start thinking about our communities.
Boondoggle! Russ Johnson = Mensa Boy.
ReplyDeleteThis streetcar boondoggle is Sly James' Waterloo. He is fucking toast. It goes without saying that Russ is burnt toast. I'll toast to that.
Congrats, Tony. Your blog is amazing in its ability to disseminate the TRUTH.
Wow, Tony. I have never heard you get so many kudos. Good job.
ReplyDelete11:26 is right!
ReplyDeleteTKC = Fertile ground for inseminating the truth!
Question A?
ReplyDeleteThe people have spoken...NO!
FUCKIN A!
“If anybody out there thinks that if this gets voted down in August and it's going to go away, I know 50 people that are going to force you to either move forward or they will move it forward for you. So let’s not kid ourselves. The streetcar is going to be expanded whether we like it or not.”
ReplyDelete@11:22 Exactly this!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with many of the "No" votes, but the anger and hatred is over the top.
ReplyDeleteYou want to make a difference, you consider getting off your asses and doing something productive. I did not not agree with the supporters, but I respect those that get off their butts and work their interests. After Tony and his anonymous clan gets tired of patting himselves on the back, you might consider volunteering for a civic committee or commission. Would be more work than F-Bombing, anonymously, but it would give you a greater sense of productive effort.
Just one guys opinion.
11:34 - Like Sly, Russ and Cindy who got off their asses and onto their knees?
ReplyDeleteFuck that 11:34
ReplyDeleteThere are a few bricks falling out of the loose asses of the KC Falling Star Goebbels Editorial Gruppen.
ReplyDeleteThat's one hell of an assumption you make 11:34 that there are no volunteers or activists who also happen to post here against the streetcar.
ReplyDeleteI'd say that pretty much makes you a sanctimonious asshole. But did it at least feel good to write that? I'll just bet that it did.
Anybody remember where Yael was on the streetcar issue?
ReplyDeleteWhat say ye Yael T Abouhalkah?????
Tony's just a cheerleader for his city hall workers...his readership isn't big enough to sway an election.
ReplyDeleteMaybe those poor people can see a pile of crap that the city tried to pull over on them.
Who in their right mind would have voted YES other than those who stand to gain from its construction?
Ummm, guys????
ReplyDeleteHave you not been paying attention to my posts about how great it is to have decided to never own a car?
Why, just today I went from my StreetFunk Yoga class all the way to Brooklyn to get artisinal snow cones (they use those famous iconic old blue NY coffee cups!) in the span of 3.5 hours. Awesome!
Don't you guys want that kind of sustainable lifestyle for yourselves?
No political capital for Sly James.
ReplyDeleteSherwood Smith your election called and asked why you didn't show up after raising and spending that much money. hahahaha
ReplyDelete1134=TKC Hood hates being called out. Average BMI approaching 40 from the time spent on their asses.
ReplyDeletereread 11:33 about 20 times.
ReplyDeletebonds
You political people really get carried away with yourself. Did you ever consider that a lot of us didn't vote on this because we just didn't want the taxes or the construction headache. Don't overthink it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Tony!
ReplyDeleteWhere's that fat fuck?? Don't you guys/ gals call him Jeff Roe?.....
ReplyDeleteBTW: how'd he swing that crazy hot bitch ?!?!
Sherwood Smith should try and run for office in Brazil. I mean it wouldn't be the first time they've voted in a clown. There's still hope Sherwood Smith.....in Brazil.
ReplyDeleteHow does Sherwood feel about running for office now?
ReplyDeleteThe statewide transportation tax that may have been used for streetcar failed as well.
ReplyDeleteEd Ford FOR MAYOR!
ReplyDeleteHell to-the-naw. Ed Ford for incarceration.
ReplyDeleteIf Mayor follows Russ Johnson's advice on bringing this to voters again within two years he deserves to be voted out of office! Best advice McGurk can give is to wait and prove to voters that the downtown streetcar works without ongoing city subsidies and build upon popular support to expand the streetcar. Also needed is a true & honest reach out to the eastside community rather than taking them for granted. Mayor & council also needs to stop listening to Councilman Glover the city council "urban planning" expert!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really want to see the watch party pictures.
ReplyDeleteGlover is an idiot. And that's an improvement from the last time he sat on the council.
ReplyDeleteOur grassroots campaign grew roots... noxious weeds, that is.
ReplyDeleteEd Ford is the only council member to vote against phase II contracts because he didn't want to risk PIAC funds in case the TDD expansion failed. He still supported the streetcar expansion, but at least he tried to be somewhat responsible.
ReplyDeleteThis is just like that movie "Lincoln" when they freed the slaves!
ReplyDeleteExcept now, instead if liberating humans from bondage, we have liberated our city from having a future!
Next stop...KC = "first class" Columbus! Lulzers, suck it Denver! Remember when we were pretty much the same place, in the 90s? Haha now you are saddled with all that economic growth and residents and tax base. suckers!
Up early, angry with democracy, stamping your little feet, not lettin it go.
Delete@2:20am
ReplyDeleteThe downtown streetcar isn't going to work without city subsidies...it's FREE.
And the money for operation, maintenance, and repair will come out of the general fund.
Add that to the millions in bonds and the money borrowed for planning the expansion, and this will be a financial sucking chest wound for KCMO for many decades.
For nothing.
Might be time for the disappointed millenials and hipsters to pack up and head for Austin.
Good luck with all the new subsidized apartments.
5:42: Always Mensa boy all the time. Gracious in defeat and forever a loser.
ReplyDeleteNow you boitches kan cum clean up de shit on ma man meat after i gots you your defeet!
ReplyDeleteNo worries Sly. There's always worse. But you did #TakeASherwoodSmith on this one
ReplyDeletea big ..fat..smelly...Sherwood Smith
No worries Sly. There's always worse. But you did #TakeASherwoodSmith on this one
ReplyDeletea big ..fat..smelly...Sherwood Smith
No expansion? How about "No Existence"
ReplyDeleteNo wanted it in the first place if they had a real election and this shows
ReplyDeleteNo one wanted this POS train in the first place and if we would have had A REAL election for it, this shows it would have NOT PASSED. KC IS CORRUPT ALL the CITY and ATTORNEYS
ReplyDeleteEven the lame duck council people will watch their fingerprints on the KCMo Koolaid cup now. The citizens just put a huge blot on their permanent records. And I think my town will be the better for it. I hope it is a wake up call to anyone who looks to feather their nests at our expense. The dopes didn't even need the Northland or Brookside, they lost on their own merits.
ReplyDeleteWe should pack their next regular council meeting. But I predict it will be closed to the public. Most likely they will have let someone new advise them to go to the mattress.
Yeah didnt get the votes so going around what the people said, sounds like obama... Dick--tator.. Which of course is wrong. No body wants this SLY.
ReplyDeleteI was going to vote for the streetcar, but I was misled by a lot of false information. Please forgive me, Mr. Mayor.
ReplyDeleteKCTV5 is reporting that Mayor James is saying the people have spoken. He is now leaving the streetcar expansion issue and moving on to fixing the crumbling sewer system, improving response times by the water department and making sure that Nwgro youths have a safe place to gather and harass shoppers.
ReplyDeleteWhen I heard the election results, I got so excited snot shot out of my nose!
ReplyDelete12:47: You are joking, right? Mensa boy won't let this rest, and Sly so wants to be a hipster.
ReplyDelete
