TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! MUST SEE!!! TRANSIT ACTIVIST CLAY CHASTAIN VIDEO PLEA TO KANSAS CITY!!!
Tonight Transit Activist Clay Chastain has sent a video message calling out Mayor Sly James, Councilman Russ Johnson and opposing recent ballot language that keeps the world "light rail" hidden from local voters.
To wit . . .
WATCH CLAY CHASTAIN'S VIDEO MESSAGE FIRST AND ONLY ON TKC!!!
It's a quick one minute clip that's certainly worth a look inasmuch as it provides an alternative view to mainstream media and a thoughtful critique of Kansas City Democracy.
Developing . . .
Given so much corruption in KC politics. Clay is looking more reasonable every day.
ReplyDeleteClay should live here if he's going to be so demanding. I hope voters reject his effort.
ReplyDeleteActually, "thank you" to Clay Chaastain for sticking with it, exposing Sly James for his evildoings and the judicial system. With Judge Midkiff she's all about helping her cronies meet their end. I don't know why a motion to compel hasn't already been filed against the City but I'm not following along close enough to know the inner workings of the case.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Clay for staying in the fight... and WINNING.
S'LIE James
ReplyDelete6:47 he lived here when he started this whole thing. like when he got an initiative PASSED by the voters... not just a petition, and actual vote of the people. glad he has the gumption to see it through, even if we are going on 8 years.
ReplyDelete8 years and three administrations of bs. things not about the light rail about power of the vote
ReplyDeletebut* about power of the vote.
ReplyDeleteIf the City Gods will do this ti Chastain they will do it to anyone. Of course the numb nuts of KC can't see that because they are drinking the Kool Aide.
ReplyDeleteOdd, at the same time Clay talks about the right to vote which is a fundamental right, why don't we dump on Missy DeJane and her attempts to block the people's right to vote on the streetcar issue. Both should go forward.
ReplyDeleteAt least we know Clay, but DeJane is backed by secret donors.
Another conspiracy theory? Please, kc is in desperate need of more democracy and we see that only Sly is interested in destroying it.
ReplyDeleteWhat's sad is she and dipshit coffee have sucked mike bushnell into the vortex. He was always a pretty reactionary dude, but at least he's an actual neighborhood activist who cares, not a carpetbagger or just a shit stirrer with nothing better to do with his time than pick a bogus pet cause and pair it with a buzzaro persecution complex. Sad to see a good dude get dragged down, but here in northeast people respect for mike has really taken a nosedive over this. Literally the only people who like what he's doin are the few ancient old people who complain about "all the Mexicans" around here. A Venn diagram of the anti streetcar people and plain old racists has a lot of overlap and everyone outside their camp knows it.
ReplyDeleteYes, we got them now. Us and Clay will show them how it's done.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you laugh at our Gondola, we will F-Bomb you.
Oh, what a City it will be.
Dont be scared to say FUCK YOU !

ReplyDeleteHillary's Book Sales Crash After 1st Week; Reviews Disastrous
While Piketty's book was divisive, the reviews of Hillary Clinton's new book "Hard Choices" are downright one-sided - and terrible. That likely explains why, as AP reports, sales have crashed 44% after an already disappointing first week. "Hard Choices" sold just 48,000 copies in its 2nd week; and following the same dismal path as Greenspan, Cramer, and Geithner; has been discounted 40% on Amazon already.
Maybe no one cares about this dirtclod besides TKC!
ReplyDeleteCity Hall will care when he appeals the vote and files another lawsuit. How much has clay cost KCMO? I bet it would be in the millions!
ReplyDeleteI wish Clay would leave us alone. He doesn't even live here. He just wants it to pass so his buddies will get all the contracts and they'll grease his palms in return.
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Chastain,
ReplyDeleteYou don't live here.
With all due respect, F.O.
Sincerely,
The People of Kansas City, Missouri
I voted for my motherfuckin gondola 8 years ago and Im still not going from King tut's to Doughboy Museum in a haughty alpine transport worthy of The Grand Budapest hotel funicular.
