Councilman Brooks to respond to issues around requests for $15,000
City of Kansas City, Mo., Fifth District Councilman Michael Brooks will provide a response to issues surrounding his request to bring Floyd Mayweather to Kansas City. The response will take place on Wednesday, June 5 at 2:45 p.m. during a live radio broadcast on KPRT 1590 AM.
Councilman Brooks has previously deferred questions on the issue due to advice from legal counsel and pending criminal investigation of the matter.

Stay on topic! Brooks needs to own up as to why he demanded the city manager to cut a check for Ossco Bolton and Ron Hunt, and why it had to be done late on a Friday afternoon. Brooks speedy timetable prevented any proper vetting of the BS event Bolton and Hunt were supposedly planning.

The question Brooks needs to answer is: why did he demand that money for Bolton and Hunt? Don't pull the "it's for the children" line of crap.
