TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS AIMED AT KANSAS CITY POLITICAL PATRONS AMID ONGOING JACKSON COUNTY PROPERTY TAX MESS!!!

This morning we have an IMPORTANT story that could end up with TKC dead in the trunk of a car, behind bars, disappeared to Guantanamo Bay or homeless . . .

But here goes . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS ARE STARTING TO QUESTION OBVIOUS DISPARITY IN JACKSON COUNTY PROPERTY ASSESSMENTS WHEN IT COMES TO LOCAL POLITICAL POWER PLAYERS!!!

Even better . . . KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS have clearly done their homework.

This is just one example . . .

Other Jackson County insiders advise that property tax assessment disparity can also be traced toward one of Jackson County's greatest patrons . . . But that would be nutty and nobody in this town is going to bother to make that connection. Right now I'm just dropping the hint because I've got a meeting with a busty AMWAY salesman in 15 minutes.

Never mind that Jackson County Legislator Crystal Williams is too busy looking for handouts to ask any questions or provide any info that this blog didn't already report first.

Anyhoo . . .

CHECK OUT THIS DATA DRIVEN AND KICK-ASS TESTIMONY ON A RATHER OBVIOUS BIT OF JACKSON COUNTY PROPERTY ASSESSMENT DISPARITY!!!

The name has been changed to keep me outta court but the facts remain the same . . . Feel free to narc out the company in the comments section.

Reassessment Favoritism?

KANSAS CITY'S TOP ENGINEERING FIRM is the favorite contributor to all of the politician’s campaigns and seems to be able have a small increase in assessed valuation. While the neighborhoods surrounding THE BUILDING HOSTING KANSAS CITY'S TOP ENGINEERING FIRM had double digit increases. The TOP KC ENGINEERING FIRM building assessed valuation for 2011 and 2012 was $36,375,000 this was down from $40,941,032 for 2010 and 2009, for 2008 and 2007 the assessed valuation was $43,562,281. This information is from the Jackson County website for tax payments.

The remarkable achievement is that TOP ENGINEERING FIRM in the Kansas City Business Journal (May 18-24,2012) reports on a $30 million renovation and improvements. This included a new 430-seat auditorium and additional office space.

When citizens are faced with increased assessments the first question asked is, have you done any improvements? The assessment department also goes to all city’s permit departments to see what kind of improvements have been done for the property to increase the value.

KANSAS CITY'S TOP ENGINEERING FIRM does not own this property but property taxes are passed on or added to rent of the tenant. So KANSAS CITY'S TOP ENGINEERING FIRM would be paying for them.

The TOP KC ENGINEERING FIRM assessed valuation for 2013 is $38,875,000 a $2,500,000 increase after $30,000,000 in improvements.

Meanwhile . . . Jackson County denizens are soon to pay up in order to keep Crystal Williams on the payroll of the Legislature and in good standing @ Cafe Trio.

  2. Let me guess this is the same engineering firm Google hired to butcher the City of Trees neighborhoods for GoogTube.

  4. this has been happening for years and it's why we need to clean house at the county too.

  5. Can't compare residential to commercial. Residential is recovering well, but commercial has a long way to go. The lending market for commercial is a different market.

You should know something about real estate before jumping to conclusions. That said, the neighborhood around the film, if we're talking about the same place, has gone downhill over the last few years and I doubt it's recovered fully.

  6. Is that the same firm that hired Mike Talboy; and then abruptly fired him?

  7. In South Kansas City commerical real estae is increasing this is not Downtown.

  8. Ha, Tony doesn't need facts before jumping to conclusions.

  9. Jackson County made a very serious error by extending recognition to the gang of racists who want to rally at Lake Jacomo and Missouri Town in mid-September. The Parks leadership did not look into the background of the "re-enactors" who like to dress up as Confederates in order to make White Supremacy look warm and fuzzy. Behind those re-enactors is a series of hate groups, most of them violent, that will swarm the area in a sort of reverse Woodstock. People should be fired.

  10. 10:39 I would agree with you, except for two things. One, this is a free country for all citizens, even the pathetically stupid ones. Two, do you really think more than 100 people will show up to this Klan rally / sausage fest? I'm almost tempted to show up, just to have a good laugh at these morons.

  13. That event at missouri town is held every year. In the fall.

They also do 1812 war reenactments, flag day ceremonies, july 4 ceremonies, and civil war ceremonies.

They do a nice job of giving kids in jackson county a nice living history display. Walk around, watch them shear sheep, hammer on an anvil.

They have black historical actors there as well.

There are also lots of black historical reenactors as many black folks fought bravely for both the North and the South and they are proud of their ancestors.

All chained up and acting as they should!

  15. Fuck all of you who do not like the Confederacy. You are wrong and most of use know that. The world would be a better place had the North been defeated. That is what we mean to say in September at Missouri Town.

    Fuck you!

  16. "They do a nice job of giving kids in jackson county a nice living history display."

Damn right teach them that Niggers should be in chains and serving us -- my kids know that but other disadvantaged kids with liberal parents might not. We need to do everything we can to show the glory of the Confederacy!

  17. Looking forward to the Missouri Town Rally5/29/13, 2:50 PM

There is nothing honorable about Yankee relatives. Those folks should just keep there shame to themselves.

  18. First off, if you want to live in this country, learn the fucking language. Secondly, the confederacy lost...a long fucking time ago. If you're so fond of the South, feel free to move to Mississippi or Alabama. You'll love it there, and we'd love to see you go.

  19. Big companies never pay their share in Kansas City. Just look at how much Dunn & Co have skipped out on.

I'm glad somebody is bringing this to light but I don't expect it to change.

  20. KC = Detroit.

  21. Why would Jackson County approve a celebration of the Confederacy even if it is not a celebration of White Supremacy -- and there is no difference between the two.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Liberals are filth. This is the best thing JaxCo has done in years!

    Rebel YELL!
