Hard times continue for Kansas City's Jazz Scene:
Joseph Fulgenzi won't be buying Jardine's jazz club...he's going to prison
This is extremely devastating news for the two dozen people who still care about Kansas City Jazz. There are a few more Kansas City Jazz clubs that have sprung up in the aftermath but they're mostly half empty and kind with horrible locations and layouts.
And so, Kansas City's signature art form continues 'The Long Goodnight' as jazz becomes just another dead language they teach at UMKC, like Latin or American Literature.
Be flexible and love others. Sounds like good advice from a homo headed to prison.
