Three billion dollors to complete a highway from Kansas City to New Orleans all of which needs to be spent in Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteWell I can tell you now Arkansas has no clue what 3 billion even is. So doubt this highway gets opened anytime soon. In fact maybe your grandchildren might get to use it. In the mean time look at all the money wasted changing road signs for no damn reason at all.
What happened to all the I-35 NAFTA highway hype?
ReplyDeleteOh that's right. That was last year.
And the KCMO Port Authority gang in Belton at Richards Gebauer is priceless.
Quite a ways from any port water, but always right in the middle of lots of public money being spent with no oversight.
How about we throw in a free streetcar?
I'm surpised Wal-Mart hasn't found a way to squeeze some money out of the Fed to complete the highway through there so they can get more cheap shit out of Central America to the U.S. I-35 is going to get worse when the intermodal opens in Gardner. Supposed to be 8,000 trucks a DAY going through the place.
ReplyDeleteAnd the KU chancellor needs a driver? Give me a break. There is no way in hell she is going to any meeting in KC alone so have whoever is going with her do the driving. What a joke. Every time I hear her hypenated name I think of the female President in the movie PCU.
