It's a nice clip and will undoubtedly lead to many ambitious students studying downtown until sometime in their senior yet a frustrated professor tells them that they really aren't that talented and getting a job with a theater tech degree is going to be pretty much impossible.
Actually, a theatre tech degree is probably the best theatre degree to get. They tend to make steady incomes.
ReplyDeleteYes, having paid nearly $80,000 for my Theater Tech degree-- I agree with you completely!!! A Theater Tech degree in this day and age pretty much guarantees you a steady income, as a barista. You might even make some decent tips, once you master how to handle the whipped cream dispenser. My customers really appreciate my skill with lighting and music, too. Really shows off the stir sticks nicely.
