TKC photography has created a great deal of buzz in the past few days so I thought I'd hit you d-bags with another provocative image.

TAKE A LOOK AT KANSAS CITY JAZZ CLUB JARDINE'S STILL DARK FOR ANOTHER WEEKEND DESPITE MARKETING HYPE!!!

This photo was taken on Saturday night (January 14th, 2012) at around 8:30 in the PM when I didn't have anything better to do than witness even more local FAIL.

The official story: New owners, now hiring, Beena taking a background spot and smiles. The reality is that Kansas City Jazz aficionados (all 9 of you) are waiting for Halstead to put the hammer down and take back the lease . . . Obviously there's no rent money coming into the place that has missed two rather mild January weekends when other clubs have managed to draw crowds.

    There is better space available around town for a Jazz Venue. That set up with the stage next to the front door and the steps in back was always a fire trap and a distraction from the music.

    There is no reason to "negotiate with American Century in order to open a jazz joint there. Since the recession, there are much better places available that offer better parking.
