Take a look at Kansas City Jazz grassroots activism . . .
CHECK OUT A FEW MEMBERS OF THE JARDINE'S 15 PROTESTING THE GRAND REOPENING OF THE KANSAS CITY JAZZ PLACE LAST NIGHT!!!
Copyright respect to the owners of these photos . . . But this is news . . .
Credit the "Occupy" references . . . Sadly, it doesn't look like these folks have been paid the money they were promised.
As the holidays approach . . . This Kansas City Jazz protest movement seems to have captured the hearts and minds of so many local jazz aficionados and has become one of the most authentically Kansas City complaints that I've seen.
DEVELOPING . . .
awww
ReplyDeleteYOU BITCHES GET OUT OF MY WORLD!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like these guys way more than Occupy. And they want to work.
ReplyDelete@Beena it's not your world anymore.
ReplyDeleteNice one guys!
ReplyDeleteHearne Christopher, why are you nt helping these people?
ReplyDeletePlease. This is about one lady and some very horrible decisions.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to these workers. It looks like they're having a good time.
Kansas City Jazz just moved to the Phoenix.
I'm confused by your statement "Copyright respect to the owners of these photos . . . But this is news . . ."
ReplyDeleteIf you respected the copyright, you'd have asked permission of and given credit to the owners of the photos. Also, there's no "news" exception for Fair Use.
According to Hearne most of these "protesters" aren't even former employess like they claim to be...
ReplyDeleteHearne will say anything about anybody. That is why no one will talk to him.
ReplyDeleteBest start pounding the pavement looking for a new job.
ReplyDeleteMark Lowery is one of the musicians who have played there in the past. Not one to trifle with petty things.
ReplyDeleteHearne has the been only outlet from Beena. No direct quotes and what he does write really isn't pleasing in any sense of the word. Self-serving? He is trying to be the Kansas City Enquirer. BABY LISA IS OBAMA'S LOVE CHILD maybe, is that his next headline?
There are a million stories in this naked city, seems quite a few involve Beena. Sounds like a Shakespeare
tragedt at Hearne is promising two new revealing stories.
Infotainment, that's all it is folks. People and their sufferings and trial on display for your amusement and entertainment.
As I walk through, this wicked world...
Sounds like a Shakespeare tragedy in four-acts as Hearne is promising two new revealing stories.
ReplyDeleteJardine's is old news. If the employees were smart they would move on and forget the disaster.
ReplyDeleteSorry but they will never get the money they are owed.
Hate to agree but there's no way these people will ever get the money they are owed.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Hearne's comment goes, many of the 15 live in Columbia, and are stranded without gas money to come back and show their support. Many of them are up to their necks in textbooks studying for finals. The legitimacy of this action does not hinge on the identities of the demonstrators, it hinges on the fact that Beena has violated labor laws, and is currently operating a business fraudulently by hiring new staff while refusing to release the tips and paychecks of her previous staff. I invite all friends of Jazz and ethical business practices to come and show your support.
ReplyDeleteBeena,I hope you realize you're going down.
ReplyDeleteI'll see you again tonight to protest your actions.
Maybe you should switch to Pepsi. It might make you a little less manic.
"Switch to Pepsi" That's funny!
ReplyDeleteI like Beena, she's a good person at heart and I hope she gets through this.
ReplyDeleteHearne is to blame. If he had just kept his mouth shut this whole episode would have never blown out of proportion.
ReplyDeleteHe's lost all credibility and I
would not want to be in his shoes.
Why didn't he just leave the story alone. Im guessing that fox 4
news crews will be opening their news show live at 10pm from there.
Anon 2:42 PM
ReplyDeleteHas anyone called the National Labor Relations Board?
I did this once when an employer tried to keep my wages. I received my check the next day.
Fox 4 has way more impact. The protestors were smart to talk to them.
ReplyDelete@Bovice ha ha ha true that about the Pepsi
ReplyDelete@Beena...you are just as crazy as ever I hope you get some help before you end up killing yourself and that little menca of yours
haahahahha i worked for this alch for one week and learned about pepsi. she thought they were a pepsi bar when they had coke guns.
ReplyDeleteshe got mad bc problem didnt get fixed. you called pepsi. and you comp everyone in your bar, not to mention letting people bring in their own bottles of alcohol to drink.
