Even better, check some of the more hilarious parts of the police report . . . Kansas City News legend Mike Mahoney posted the police report from where I pilfered this data but I imagine like so many other people, he's probably too busy giggling to write down the juicy details yet.
What I find funny is that Kansas City mainstream media is reporting the part about threatening the livelihood of the po-po . . . A world class B-movie "Don't You Know Who I Am?" catchphrase . . . BUT . . .
NOBODY IS REPORTING THE MORE SAVORY ALLEGATIONS ABOUT THREATS OF VIOLENCE THAT REFERENCED A DISGUSTING ACT OF CHILD MOLESTATION SPOUTED BY THE MAYOR'S SON OR HIGHLIGHTING ALLEGATIONS OF RACISM THROWN AT THE KCPD!!! SO, TKC IS CLAIMING THIS INFO AS BREAKING NEWS . . . NATCH!!!
Anyhoo here are my favorite money quotes from the police report and stuff mainstream media isn't reporting:
The subject told me that I didn't like him and I informed him that I didn't know him but he was probably not a bad guy when he was sober, but his behavior was inappropriate. He stated that he was just getting his "swag" on and that I was "hatin" on him.
The subject then attempted to walk over to their table and I blocked his path and told him to return to his seat. He stated taht he knew the girl and had sex with her before. I told him that I didn't care, but her companion was getting upset and I didn't want a disturbance to break out between the two of them. He accused me of trying to interfere with his "game".
"I could plainly hear him stating that we were racists and we were setting him up. An although his companions were calm and not being disruptive he kept yelling at them telling them to shut up and bet quiet. The subject kept trying to cover the mouth of his companion who was seated next to him and grabbed him by the head several times."
"I escored the subject outside to the patio area and he continued yelling and cursing everyone around him. He continued to verbually insult me and tell me that he could have my job any time he wanted. He then got into a verbal altercation with three males who were waiting for a cab on the corner . . .
He told them he would "fuck them like the sweet sixth grade pussy on the playground." He also told them to meet him at 39th and Troost and he would "fuck them up".
Really? Let's revisit that one . . .

ReplyDeleteWhile I totally disagree with the gleeful tone behind the racially motivated comments, I do believe that Sly's military training (Marines wasn't it?) needs to be implemented here to discipline his spoiled kid.
ReplyDeleteAlthough city control of the PD will probably happen at some point, this incident shows that there need to be laws/policies/etc that have real teeth to keep political figures (and their family and freinds) from day to day police operations, promotions, hiring/firing, assignments, etc.

What disturbs me about Sly James' son Kyle is his comment about the 6th grader. This is not 22 year drunk talk. Perhaps the police should take a DNA sample and compare it to some of the unsolved rapes in this city. The mayor should have his son make a public apology to the police department and to the City of Kansas City. How can anyone have faith in this mayor when his son was raised to threaten a vile act on an innocent child. One might think the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

ReplyDeleteI think the same is true of many of the children of the wealthy, whose parents buy them out of difficulties until the brats push the limit and get into difficulties even money can't get them out of.
By the way, Kyle's photo is in today's Star. He is a real cutie. If he doesn't stop with the foolishness, he'll be really popular in prison.

Tony has been railing for months about P& L's exclusionary policies and I think this incident demonstrates why the rich white people don't want the trashy niggers in the area. If I, a white guy, had been at that restaurant and witnessed that scene, I'd never go back there, guaranteed.
