Dear Friends,
I have some good news. I have been nominated for KC Man of the Year! I would really appreciate your vote and support. If I win the money raised from all the men's votes and the event will go to my favorite charity, AUTISM SPEAKS! It would be great to win the competition and give a big donation to Autism Speaks during Autism Awareness Month!
Here is how to go vote and get tickets to the event if you choose:
1. Go to KC Connections WEBSITE, & Click on the Men Of the Year Tab. Or you can go to the Men Of the Year site directly by going HERE.
2. To purchase tickets to the Men of the Year event click the blue tab which says, "Purchase Tickets." To vote for me as the KC Man of the Year click on the blue tab which says, "Cast Your Vote."
3. Once the new window opens you will have space provided to enter in your name, your email address, my name-Jason Grill, and how much you would like to contribute. The minimum amount to donate is $5. There are other amounts in the pull down tab as well that will count as $5 per vote. Whoever raises the most money wins! So for example, if you vote for me and donate $100 that would equal 20 minimum donation votes!
4. When you are finished entering in all of the above information you will click the "Submit" button which will then lead you to the Paypal site so that your vote can go through.
5. Online voting will end on April 29th, 2011 at midnight.
The actual Men of the Year event takes place April 29th (8pm-12am) at Club Monaco, located at 400 East 31st Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64108. If you decide to come to the event a $15 ticket includes two drink tickets, a vote for KC Man of the Year, and one ticket for one of the great donated raffle prizes from the event's sponsors. There will be vender booths and other live events going on at the event.
