Subsequently, The New York Times makes it plain with a bit of journalism that doesn't defer to rank:
Democrat in Missouri to Oppose Health Care Law
Money Line: "For Mr. Koster, who was elected in 2008, the decision to oppose his party on such a high-profile issue reflects the political challenges for Missouri Democrats in the coming election cycle."
Even better . . . They use the "Koster The Imposter" Tag.
What's more puzzling to me is that politicos in Missouri continue to play the fence as if there's a lot of leeway between supporting healthcare for po'folk or backing GOP Austerity for everyone but CEOs and Wall Street Masters Of The Universe . . . On the hand, Obamacare is a nightmare in a lot of respects . . . Luckily, GOP initiatives to gut Medicare make their cruel stupidity a little bit easier to openly oppose even for the most timid so-called Democrats.
Could that "guy"? get any more white make around his eyes?
ReplyDeleteAnother self-aggrandizing horse's ass. He's a democrat. Big surprise
ReplyDeleteSo the argument is he should not oppose Obamacare if you are a Democrat? The dirty little secret about Obamacare is that part of its "savings" is just shifting costs to the states. It's entirely possible for free thinking Democrats to recognize this legislation as ill conceived.
ReplyDeleteWhat an extremely punchable assface.
ReplyDeleteI mean it's right up there with Chuck Klosterman and Henry Waxman for punchability.
Finally, a sane Democrat. Thanks Mr. Koster.
ReplyDeletePushing health care from the feds to the states, to the individual makes little sense.
ReplyDeletePrivatizing health care hasn't worked so well for us up until now. No one's bitch slapped the industry...and for good reason. They've spent plenty of money bribing government to look the other way.
Obama care is fine. It just needs one more step. To do to the drug companies what the VA did. Put them in their place.
Anytime you want to quote somebody for trashing Obamacare, as you call it, look at those who contributed to their campaigns. If the health care industry did, youre listening to THEM, because they simply bought and paid for another politician.
We who served our country did not risk our lives for a government bribed by private corporations!
Obama received $20 million form the health care industry in campaign contributions in 2008 during the presidential campaign. John McCain received only $7 million. That coupled with the fact you are quick to pull the veteran card, is it safe to assume you were a die hard McCain supporter or do you just pull out little soundbited to support preconceived opinions?
ReplyDeleteAlittle history, to those of you new to politics, Koster started out as a repub, couldn't get the AG nomination and taught the good ole boys a lesson by switching parties and winning the office. Koster is nothing if not a slick politician, if he's doing this the dems are in BIG trouble in Missouri. In person Koster could give slick willy or Obama a run for their money when it comes to connecting with people.
ReplyDeleteTony, perchance you could elucidate on your comment that Obamacare, "..is a nightmare in a lot of respects.." Like many others, I'd like to know specifically how it's a cluster fuck. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteKoster plays ugly politics. He is a crook like all the rest.
ReplyDeletehe looks like a slick pedophile.
ReplyDeleteBoy, when a Democrat stands up to the Marxists he really gets the character assassination treatment, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteDemocrats are intolerent of different opinions.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats are intolerent of different opinions If this were so why did they welcome Koster and then elect him AG? Koster is no different from any other politician of either party. It's always about them, power and money, that's all.
ReplyDeleteI like him

ReplyDeleteNote that anyone leaving a negative comment will be investigated by the MO Attorny General. This is your last warning.
ReplyDelete9:15 is right. KC is a rank political opportunist who will align with whichever party he thinks has the wind at its back. He's a lot like Tony in this one respect: If there's a DUI in his background, that would be at least ONE conviction.
ReplyDeletehe touched my peepee too!
ReplyDeletelol radioman kc got smacked down by 9:07. total fail on his part.
