EVEN MORE KANSAS CITY LATINOS!!!

Find even more details on your own but note that next week The COHO Board is hosting a presentation from the Census Bureau that will begin at 8:30 a.m. @ The MCC Pioneer campus . . .

"Recent Census figures indicate that five out of six new Kansas City residents identify themselves as Hispanic or Latino. Estimates indicate that Kansas City's Latino community is the fastest growing demographic group in the city now at more than 10% the total population."

Even better . . .

Census: Hispanics reach 50 million

TKC CONCLUSION: IT'S TOO LATE FOR TALK RADIO HATE TO START A DEPORTATION TREND AND EVEN THE HINT OF AN END TO BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP IS AN ATTACK ON LATINOS!!!

Like it always has . . . This country is changing. The Asian and Muslim wave after this one will change it even further. Fighting the future is futile.

Chingo Bling said it best when he noted that "They Can't Deport Us All." Turns out he was CORRECT.

  1. Those who are citizens or in the country legally, are welcome and their ethnicity and religion is irrelevant.

For those who not citizens and are not in the country legally, there's a whole fleet of school buses available in 2 months to caravan south on I-35.

  2. Anyone think it's interesting that the number of hispanics in this city is on the rise and so is the crime rate?

Maybe the best way to stop crime is to stop all the illegals.

  3. When the Tea Party gains full control of the Legislature and Executive branches, you'll find out just how many of you turd-balls we CAN deport.

  4. I'll never understand why any legal citizen would celebrate illegal immigration. It seems particulary popular with Mexicans.

  5. That's because folks like TKC think that focusing on ethnicity and the numbers of people in any particular group, whether legal or not, gives you the ability to whine more over victimization and entitlement and "get your fair share" from people who actually pay taxes.
These folks don't seem to understand that illegals can't vote and most Latinos apparently don't want to and if you come to the US VOUNTARILY, there's not a lot of public support for your grievances.
It's interesting to watch, in a sad kind of way, but the people in the Latino community who are making a real difference for themselves and their neighborhoods are the indiviudals who are getting an education, working hard, competing, and winning on their merits, just like everyone else.
If you want to see the results of whing and demanding, take a tour of the east side. Why would anhyone want to go down that road?

  6. I find it difficult to take seriously anyone wearing a shirt with a corn cob cowboy cartoon figure on it.

And yes, this includes NU fans, too.

  7. The reason a blind eye is turned toward illegal immigration is because

    1) businesses like the cheap labor and the fact that they complain little (e.g. about working conditions, etc.);

    2) consumers like the benefit of reduced costs for the products and services they provide, and;

    3) government likes the positive effects to their balance sheet of the tax to benefit ratio (i.e. they pay more in total taxes then the total benefits they do/will receive). For example, unless there is a legislative change, there isn't a single illegal working today who will receive social security benefits.

I like that because their taxes help to keep the social security system solvent, so I can send Mom or Dad to the nursing home instead of to a spare bedroom in my home.

  9. I don't know, 10:11.

That sneer on the corn cob's face is pretty menacing.

  10. Hispanics will reinvent and reinvigorate the US, as waves of immigrants did before. On balance, this is a good thing. Oh and I am a white homo who lives in the Brookside area that TKC likes to mock....

  12. No, but we COULD deport YOU!

  13. When I become czar:

    1. Prosecute companies that hire illegals.

    2. Zero services -- other than emergency medical care -- for illegals.

    3. Deport as many as possible.

    4. Put whatever force is needed on our southern -- and northern -- borders to stem the tide.

P.S. I understand Mexico is building a wall on its southern border.

  14. The KCMO police harbor and protect illegals at the CAN center. How can a blog do anything, when the police are part of the problem.

  15. 8:52 Yes I do.

I also think it's interesting that the number of Republicans in Jeff City is on the rise along with the crime rate.

I also think it's interesting that the price of a can of green beans is on the rise along with the crime rate.

  16. A majoirty of them are illegal immigrants and shoould be deported .

  17. 10 million of 50 million is 20%. 20% is not a majority. As Mr. Garcia told Mr. Marshall, "My family has lived in Texas since before the wetback Sam Houston left Tennessee". They are simply having more children, while a white woman's child can be considered black.

  18. All the rednecks who complain about illegal immigration must be posting on the same blogs.
