I retract my previous criticism of the Episcopal Church.
ReplyDeleteI was speaking from my experience with the congregation here in Clarksburg, WV, where they are the only ones who don't have a food pantry & the only ones who won't help the poor.
I was not aware of the good work that they are doing in Kansas City.
Nothing is more important than feeding the hungry. This is real Christianity.
Tony, don't you feel these are just guilty middle-class white people trying to make up for their day-to-day oppression of the needy?

They give a lot more money, time and talent than Secret Santa ever did.
