President Bush Book Tour In Kansas City

Former President George W. Bush will be in Kansas City right before Thanksgiving promoting his recent book. The event is already sold out.

But just for giggles, here's a look at the presser:

What: Former President George W. Bush will be in conversation with Vivien Jennings, Founder & President of Rainy Day Books, and discuss his new Book and his life. The program will last approximately one Hour.

When: Monday, November 22, 2010, 7:00 PM

Where: A Rainy Day Books Author Event at Unity Temple on The Plaza, Sanctuary, 707 W 47th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64112

I'm already guessing it's going to be a magical night full of acolytes and protesting d-bags who voted for Ralph Nader.

Mental Note . . . Plaza D-Bags during the work week are even worse . . .

How much you wanna bet that W brings his crayons because he heard that he would get to meet someone who sells books.

Ya never know when they might be handing out extra coloring books that they might have around the store.

W believes that selling books must be a cool job as long as there are not too many words in those books.

Words are the tough part. He prefers to just "color."

  3. I know he has to be somewhere on the anniversary of the Kennedy assassination, but why here?

  4. Every time I see this guy, I think of all the dead.

The Liberty Memorial, a really cool interesting destination, has engraved in stone over the main entrance, a list of Dead KC (I believe) soldiers who died in WW1.

It says, "Here are the dead."

There should be a Bush Memorial at his soon to be completed library.

A big list for this memorial.

The list should include all the dead Americans and Iraqis.

Should end up around a quarter million.

    What a fuck up.

Then, we could have pictures of the weapons of mass destruction.

Oh,... thats right there were none.

No problem, save that space for more names.

  5. Quite possibly the WORST POTUS in history. Given the state of The Republic when this joker left office, it shows incredicle chutzpah to go around the US peddling a book.

  6. You all don't recall he did not have control of both houses of congress and he did not do this on his own.

  8. Those of you that don't like PRESIDENT OBAMA, have only w. to thank. Check your history, for a substantial part of hias blighted time in office w. had one or both houses of congress. The guy was a disaster.
