I don't know squat about Brent Roper... but I've had my experience with Westgate members:
ReplyDeleteafter I wrote a "letter to the editor" describing an encounter with Freds klan, the papers editor called and warned me that if they ran the letter I would likely be subject to harrassment. I discussed this with my wife and said OK, we can handle it. Our phone rang off the wall with folks variously explaining in a polite clear voice that I was "a filthy liar" or alternately, screaming "faggot, faggot, faggot" into my ear. At home it was a minor annoyance: almost entertaining. But then my employer had to disconect the fax machine due to the constant barrage of faxes addressed to me and originating from the phone at Westburo.
So was that the guy from the Insurance Commission or those nutcases related to Fred Phelps?
