So, I hear the former Star newsie has found a new home . . . She's no longer on the assignment desk at NBC Action News.
WORD IS DEANN SMITH IS NOW A REAL REPORTER OVER AT KMBC!!!
Well, actually she'll be working on the their website.
We all knew she would land a better gig but it's nice to see the local news broad (and one of the best reporters in Kansas City) find a place in this town.

That's great news. I have been following her on Twitter for a while. One day i heard about some goings ons and asked her if she knew what was what. She tracked down what was up and told me. I've been a HUGE fan ever since.

GOOD FOR HER. I'm thrilled! And besides that, I always look to KMBC's website so if she has a part of it, well so much better for ME!
