Here's a rather great example of a Kansas City politico giving back. Jackson County Legislator Scott Burnett and his wife Rhonda were recently in Chiang Mai, Thailand helping Habitat for Humanity. They were part of a crew of more two thousand volunteers who built 82 homes the week of 11/15. Former President Jimmy Carter, Mrs. Carter and his son Chip and his wife Becky were also there.
Give the ultimate gift... stay there, please.
