Read between the lines on some great reporting by Spivak, the local mayors who showed up to today's light rail summit offered Kansas City's Mayor very little support and not much encouragement at all . . . Of course, stubborn Mayor Funkhouser will continue chasing this pipe dream despite the desperate need of his attention in other parts of KC . . . Relentlessly pursuing a development agenda and neglecting basic services: This is different from Mayor Kay how? (Other than the Ethics Investigation, of course)

It's Spivak, puto.
ReplyDeleteDurka durka Funky is bad durka.
ReplyDeleteThe Mayor has everyone guessing around here on his motives. Behind the scenes Tony, he's absolutely obsessed with this thing and hasn't talked about much else in a month. Except for his "Education" summit. Word around the Hall as usual is that the only the only ideas he's listening to are his own.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should try printing some of the stuff the Mayor's say off the record. I'll send you a few choice quotes if you'd like.
That sounds just like him
ReplyDeleteCharles... send in the snippets of Funkhouserism.
ReplyDeleteI agree, let's see 'em.
ReplyDeleteTony, this is where you not actually being at the event hampers your perception of it...
ReplyDeleteSure, not many mayors spoke out in favor of his plan, but more spoke in favor of it than those who spoke against it...
Spivak's piece is another attempt by the Star to shut down Funk
Kay doesn't give a rats ass about lightrail. It's the ones who funds her.
ReplyDeleteHey thepaintman
ReplyDeleteWho are the ones who funds her?
