So what are you doing this weekend?



There's a lot of stuff happening this weekend in KC that almost sounds important enough to miss the season premiere of SNL. Almost.

Here's some of the events I'm listing. Use the comments to list your own:

  • The Japanese Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Carlsen Center at Johnson County Community College.

  • Racefest 2007 is already underway at The Legends. Also, that's an interesting name since I think that there's predominantly only one race of people who show up in order to smell exhaust fumes and watch cars make left turns.

  • For all the marbles: An attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest marble tournament will be hosted Saturday by the Toy & Miniature Museum of Kansas City.

  • As always the Event Driver has a great list of local music shows.
