The Long Walk from Liberty to Olathe

Scooter J from local blog Living in the Scoot Utopia has earned a reputation among the blogging set for documenting his long walks across this city with great insights and photos.

However, his latest trek can only be described as epic . . . Check out www.livewalking.com in order to follow the path of Scooter as he walked more than 30 miles!!!! His trip bisected the metro area from the two of the furthest suburbs . . . Really, check out the site . . . It has a neat interface that's hooked into google maps and quick diary entries which documented the walk . . . Which surprisingly varied in topic and didn't just mention how much the guy's feet must have hurt.

A more than 30 mile walk in one day!!! Damn, just damn . . . He promises more details about the journey later . . . So check his blog throughout the day.

Brief aside: Over the last couple of months I've been getting fed up with formerly local blogger Heidi of Me, My life and Infrastructure. She scooped me on this one because I don't post on Sundays and she lives in New York now anyway . . . So she should maybe think about getting a life up there in lieu of the one she didn't have in the Midwest. Relax, live a little, and go pretend like you haven't found Shangri-La in the Hipster capital of Williamsburg. I know, she's supposed to be the local champion of liberal, hippie causes like public transportation and political figures who despise organized religion but her meddling with everything from the election to my posting schedule is getting tired . . . Fair is fair, if Clay Chastain is derided for messing with KC from afar then it's time for this town to turn it's ire toward this fem blogger, her smart glasses and her know-it-all grad student ways!!!!!! (By the way, I'm kidding)
