Here is the first commercial in KC's Mayoral Race: Janice Ellis weighs in with this classy clip.
It's a great ad in the classic KC politics sense:
1. She looks good.
2. She says absolutely nothing meaningful about why she should be Mayor.
3. The soundtrack makes you feel good about yourself!
Clearly, Claire McCaskill taught all the local politicos that music is very important in a campaign with her sampling of a Turtles tune in her race.
Anyway, this commercial does a great job of persuading me that I should spend EVEN MORE time on the Internet, watching porn and HBO in order to avoid political ads on the tube.
were you at the "pedestrians, yeah, that's the ticket" mayor forum wednesday night at the central library?
ReplyDeletejanice did, i think, the worst job of talking about anything. close second was "i said the same BS four years ago" glazer.
Tell me that she is NOT the spitting image of Florence from "The Jeffersons."
