The Bloggies according to TKC

I've had a few great moments in blogging. I've had a 250lbs white woman send me a nude photograph of herself. I've also received a ton of angry e-mail (but few comments, surprising). Every other week there is a strange/nice/hopefully not crazy guy who writes me and tells me how the Jews are the root of all evil. I've also made quite a few friends and burned a lot of bridges by posting my stupidity daily.

However, being mentioned on Bryon Crawford.com is probably the greatest thrill I've ever had (no homo).

Today Bol posts his recommendations for The Bloggies. I have a few of my own.

Like a KC Ward Boss of (not so) long ago. Let me fill out the important parts of your ballot for you.

Weblog of the year: Byron Crawford.com: The Mindset of a Champion.

Most Humorous Weblog: Dallas Penn.com.

Best Writing of a Weblog: Death's Door.

Best Topical Weblog: BlogKC

Best Teen Weblog: Mr. Cellophane

Best New Weblog: Just Cara

Best Weblog about politics: Gone Mild

Best Canadian Weblog: A Note to Myself (C'mon and update mofo)

Best Craft Weblog: Knitting Cybrarian (I never thought a local sewing circle could be so interesting) and I'd be a dumbass if I didn't mention the comix genius of Sparrow's Fall.

Best food Weblog: MToast (is yummy)

Best American Weblog: The Whole Wheat Blogger (somewhere there is a white bread joke about this former Marine that I can't come up with)

Best Tagline of a Weblog: Dang Diggity: "bitchbook (& assorted mutterings)." I love this lovely local blogger.

Best Entertainment Weblog: The Superficial

Best GLBT Weblog: It's a tie between Crime Scene KC for all the wrong reasons and Kangamini banga-bloga for all the right ones.

Best Web Application for weblogs: Frontpage, which I always think I'm gonna go back and use.

Now go and do likewise ladies and gents. Go and do likewise.
